The space
The space is very large and comfortable. The unit includes all of the garden level, first, second and third floors of the house, including three kitchens, the front veranda, the large backyard with heated swimming pool, hot tub, deck, grill, and numerous seating areas. The unit has old world charm along with modern updates to make this space very user friendly. The house has central a/c. The main floor large kitchen is well equipped and has updated appliances, quarter-sawn oak shaker-style cabinets with Caesarstone countertops. It also has an eat-in kitchen where you can sit and watch the chef cook your meal while drinking a nice glass of wine or beverage of your choice. There is what we call the “wine room” adjacent to the kitchen that has a wine cabinet, fireplace, Miele Coffeemaker, TV and cozy sitting area with a fireplace. The library has a large projection TV where you can hang out and watch movies. It also has a large leather couch that reclines along with 2 recliners. The living room also has ample comfortable seating to hang out and relax or warm up in front of the fireplace. The formal dining room has a dining table that can seat 8 guests. There is also an outside table and chairs in the backyard along with additional seating on the front porch. There are four floors, 9 bedrooms and 6 baths. The garden level has 2 XL bedrooms with king-sized beds and 2 baths, one full bath and one with a shower only which has a waterfall showerhead. The main floor is all living area along with a half bath. The second floor has 4 large bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king-sized beds and 2 have queen beds. The two that have King beds (one purple mattress) (one of the queen bedrooms is a posturepedic) and the 2 king bedrooms also have televisions and non-working fireplaces. There are also 2 baths on the second level, 1 has a shower and jacuzzi tub. This bath is a Jack and Jill bath. The other bath is shower only. The shower only bath was just renovated in 2020. It has a waterfall showerhead and a bidet styled toilet. There are two sets of laundry areas located in the garden level and the top floor. There are 3 bedrooms on the third/top level with one bath that has a shower and jacuzzi tub. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized mattress, one has a queen and the other a full-sized mattress. There is a large open living room/kitchen area on the top floor with a television as well. There is an amazing veranda in the front of the house where you can hang out and enjoy Summit Avenue. There is also a large gas grill for your enjoyment. The backyard has a large heated swimming pool and a hot tub with a deck and ample seating with a firepit. There is parking in the back or ample parking in the front. *Hot tub should be available all year long. Swimming pool will be available usually late Spring until Fall (Generally May 1 to October 15 – depending on the weather). If you need to check in early or check out later. If the option is open you can do so for up to two hours for an extra $300. Please check first if it available. Parties and events are not allowed due to Covid.
